The Store Has Reopened
I’m excited to announce the reopening of my online store, along with a complete redesign of my website!
It’s been severeal years since I last updated my site, but my passion for creating Temari hasn’t wavered. Recently, I’ve been focusing on intricate “all-over” designs with complex divisions, and I’ve added these new pieces to my portfolio. You’ll also find some simple division Temari I’ve created recently, several of which are available for purchase in the store.

Temari Timelapse
I created a timelapse showing me making one of my temari, filmed over 6 days. Check it out on Instagram.

Steven Bowe Temari is moving to Portland, OR
Three more weeks until Steven Bowe Temari moves to Portland! My moving sale continues through November 27, 2015, but ceramics will be removed from the shop on November 16. Normal operations will resume once I'm settled in Portland.

Sweet Paul article is now online
There is now a digital version of my interview with Sweet Paul Magazine on their website, as well as instructions for making a simple Temari.

Feature in Sweet Paul Magazine
I’m very happy to announce that I’ve been featured in the Summer 2015 issue of Sweet Paul Magazine!

Feature on Barbara Suess' blog
I’m honored to be featured on the blog of Barbara Suess, one of the women who literally wrote the book on temari in the United States. Barbara is an author of three books on temari and kimekomi (a related art form), and is certified as a Shihan (Master/Instructor) by the Japan Temari Association in Tokyo. Thank you, Barb!
